Approved!

I got a call today with “unknown” on caller ID and knew that it was clinic. I wasn’t expecting any calls from them so I was on guard when it turned out to be an IVF grant coordinator. She called in to see if I still have my medication coverage and told me that she will get back to me with a follow up next week. I was taking back a bit (I wasn’t expecting this call in the first place) so I just told her straight out that I have everything ready to start and that I need to know where we stand. After a brief pause, she told me that we are approved but that they haven’t worked out the actual dollar amount yet. I thanked her 10 times and scheduled my financial consultation for Wed, June 2nd. I feel so relieved knowing that at least some part of the financial burden will be taking off us. At the same time I’m dreading Wednesday to hear the $ verdict since we still need to pay for our last failed FET.

I promised my DH that I will try to take it one step at a time. So here I go, I take approved even without $ as a big step forward.
